I am an HCPC registered and BPS Chartered Counselling Psychologist in London working in private healthcare and in private practice. I understand what it can be to try to control the outer world through endless schedules, to do lists, simply powering through by living on auto-pilot whilst keeping your emotions in check.
I’m a Counselling Psychologist and I really enjoy what I do. I am keen to help you through the emotional impact that significant life changes can bring such as anxiety and depression, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, chronic pain and physical health problems by working together to heal emotional wounds, reconnect with life and move forward to reach your potential.
We will spend time understanding what you are experiencing in order to make long-last changes. My approach is warm, supportive and accepting. I take a holistic treatment to therapy tailoring it to your needs and drawing from a range of evidence-based psychological interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), person centred, psychodynamic, trauma focused CBT and narrative exposure therapy. I use a variety of interventions, including stress management, increasing self-compassion, incorporating mindfulness, reconnecting your body with your mind, mood management, anxiety reduction and empowerment to enable you to find the best path to healing and growth in your life.
I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship to provide a confidential, safe and supportive space where you can explore, process and heal as well as increase self-awareness, personal growth and a develop deeper sense of meaning, purpose and contentment.
My practice adheres to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Standards and the British Psychological Society (BPS) Code of Ethics and Conduct.
I provide both short and long-term psychological therapy in English and Italian.
